Where does the money go?

Every school in C-FB ISD benefits from Educational Foundation programs that train teachers, provide equipment, pilot projects and offer new instructional experiences to students of all ages. Student scholarships administered through the Educational Foundation provide opportunities for C-FB ISD graduating seniors to pursue a college degree. Student Enrichment Grants afford C-FB ISD Students the opportunity to attend workshops and seminars outside of the classroom to compliment their education. Grants to Teachers provide C-FB ISD Teachers with funds needed to launch innovative and creative programs in their classrooms to more fully engage students in the learning process. The Board of Directors has final approval of program awards as recommended by its Allocations Committee. Each request undergoes an extensive review process.

Contributions are tax deductible as defined by the IRS Revenue Code; the Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Click a logo below to make your contribution. After completing the contribution process, you will be taken to a page where you can give us additional information so we can ensure that you receive a charitable gift receipt for your tax records.  You can also give us information on employer or spouse employer gift-matching and make other comments. You can indicate that you have made a designated gift for a specific fund or a memoriam. Click here to see a list of funds that you may designate your gift to. Please note that single gifts of less than $100 cannot be designated. All non-designated gifts benefit the general fund.

Star Awards: Sharing Tributes and Recognition

Honor special Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD faculty and staff members through the Educational Foundation's STAR Awards. Families, friends, and colleagues can acknowledge a faculty or staff member any time during the year; however the STAR Award is a great way to honor a special C-FB ISD team member during the holiday season or at the end of the year. Your STAR contributions will support the C-FB ISD Educational Foundation, a 501(c)(3) community organization that directly benefit the district's teachers, students, classrooms and schools. The Foundation provides funding not available through traditional sources. Honorees will receive a STAR pin as well as an acknowledgement card for each contribution.  Click logo below to make your donation.
